I desperately needed a vanity very quickly. This store had one left. Kirk Macdonald helped me with the purchase and delivery so efficiently that it was delivered within a couple of hours of ordering. Fantastic service! I will definitely recommend this store and return for more!
Just simply don’t go here. Spent 10 minutes just listening to sales people’s persuasion to buy cull lumber, then spent another 10 minutes to buy hangers. Oh if you buy bulk they have to scan the same item for 100 times, 1 by 1. So bring your coffee with you.
I frequent Smithville Home Hardware as I live close by. On my last visit I had the pleasure of dealing with Kirk at the contractors desk he was very pleasant and very helpful. I proceeded to the outdoor lumber yard to pick up my lumber and was met by a young man named Kevin. He was amazing, he picked out the best lumber for my needs and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Most definitely the best service you can ever hope for.
The staff here are always happy to help, it's very rare that I go to pick something up and they don't have it in stock, so the selection is excellent. It's nice to have such a big hardware store in such a small town.
Pretty sure you have to be completely miserable to work at the contractors desk. Or completely useless to work in the rest of the store. Dunnville Homehardware got voted as number one. Smithville is runner up for worst Homehardware.
